We offer a variety of stains and can customize stains to match existing hardwoods. We use oil-base and water-base finishes. We apply one coat of stain and three coats of finish.
Over time, wood floors may become dull or scratched. Refinishing is a technique used to eliminate surface scratches and revitalize them by buffing the old finish and applying a new coat. Maintenance coating extends the life of your hardwood floors between re-sanding. Generally, floors need to be re-sanded every 10-15 years. Maintenance coating can increase this time span.
